The NBA legend and Versace ooze charisma and excellence this 2023

Former professional American basketball player, Dwyane Wade, is a natural champion and exhibits the values that are perfectly in-line with the Versace look and attitude. These are the reasons why he is the face of the Italian luxury fashion brand’s latest Men’s eyewear campaign to kick off 2023 in style.

The new Versace  Men’s eyewear campaign can be boiled down to just two words, charisma and excellence. These are exactly the words that come to mind when one looks at the sheer style that is exhibited by Dwyane Wade when he shows off the beautiful and unique designs included in this eyewear collection.

Illustrious photographer Mario Sorrenti lends his talents to the campaign, perfectly capturing the style and charisma but also enhances the natural character of Dwyane Wade in a series of images which bring the Versace Eyewear styles to life, highlighting the precision designs and confident details of three new styles.

The Versace eyewear campaign featuring Dwyane Wade features three unique but equally stunning designs which are the VE2251, VE2252 and VE1287. Our personal favourite is the VE2251 as it is perhaps the most unique piece of the three. It is an intriguing reinterpretation of the legendary Medusa and features white elements.

It also features an embossed Medusa applied to the bridge of the eyewear and is paired with a second Medusa on the temple, both mounted on a square white coloured plaque for an undeniably elegant and stylish effect. The look is completed with the gold frames.

The VE2252  on the other hand, evoke the hypnotic power of Medusa and stands out on the dynamic aviator frame, merging a classic structure with the unmistakable personality of Versace. It also features the same gold frames as the previous version worn by Dwyane Wade.

Last but certainly not least, we have the VE1287 which is perhaps the most minimalist of the three and forgoes the Medusa element on the bridge. We reckon that this is the one to choose especially since it looks good on a variety of different face shapes and not just the chiseled and sharp shape face of the NBA legend.
