Resorts World Sentosa hosts digital art experience
Dutch Post-Impressionist painter, Vincent Willem van Gogh, better known as Van Gogh, was a lot of things. A visionary, a talent ahead his time, a genius, a madman and everything in between, his art has left a huge mark on history. However, his talent has never truly been accessible here in Asia but that’s about to change.
After hugely successful runs across Europe and the U.S., the expansive and award-winning 360-degree digital immersive art experience, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, will finally debut in Southeast Asia in 2023. The immersive experience opens in Singapore for the first time at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS), B1 Forum.
Moreover, the Immersive Experience began in 2016 and is rated the number one immersive experience by readers of USA Today. Thus far, it has toured multiple European and US cities thanks to the award-winning entertainment producer Exhibition Hub as well as the leading entertainment discovery platform, Fever.
H&B, a next generation activation and engagement company who previously brought Dale Chihuly: Glass in Bloom to Singapore has lent its expertise to bring the hugely anticipated Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience to the land of the merlion.
Michael Lee, CEO, H&B, stated, “One of the dreams for H&B is to be able to share the beauty of art in various forms with Singapore, from sculptures and paintings, to immersive digital art experiences.”
“We are ecstatic to be organising this unique exhibition in partnership with Resorts World Sentosa, Exhibition Hub and Fever, and to debut Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience at Singapore’s premium lifestyle destination in Southeast Asia.” He added.
Additionally, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience offers a look into the artist’s world like no other. This VR experience, an exclusive to Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, immerses visitors into an unforgettable ten-minute journey in which the inspiration behind some of Van Gogh’s most beloved masterpieces are revealed.
Mario Iacampo, CEO and Creative Director for Exhibition Hub also said, “Our focus on total immersion starts from the moment you enter and stays with you long after you leave. This wholly new way to experience art, provides our guests with a deeper appreciation of Van Gogh’s genius in a truly transcendent environment.”
