TM One, the enterprise and government solutions arm of Telekom Malaysia, has proudly inaugurated its first Global Business Services (GBS) Centre on the East Coast, situated in the picturesque Marang, Terengganu.
AI Investments
This state-of-the-art Centre is designed to harness cutting-edge technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), to enhance service delivery and bolster digital business capabilities in the region, making it an attractive hub for new investments.
The Centre’s launch was officiated by YAB Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar, the Menteri Besar of Terengganu, alongside key state leaders such as Haji Mohd Nurkhuzaini Bin Ab. Rahman, Chairman of the Committee for Digital Economy, and Ariffin Deraman, Chairman of the Committee for Entrepreneurship and Human Resources.
Their presence underscores the significance of this initiative for the local economy. Strategically located between major cities like Kuantan and Kuala Terengganu, the Centre is equipped to manage large-scale projects for various organisations. With an initial capacity of 300 seats, it has the potential to expand to 1,500 seats as demand increases.
On top of that, it also boasts multilingual support in Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin, Tamil, and Arabic, enabling organisations to cater to a diverse customer base. The GBS Centre is set to serve key state agencies, including Syarikat Air Terengganu (SATU), which provides water supply services to 1.2 million residents.
Customer Satisfaction Guaranteed
This initiative will expand TM One’s existing management of SATU’s Contact Centre, covering inquiries across voice and digital platforms, ensuring seamless service delivery and enhanced customer satisfaction in the region. With this launch, TM One is paving the way for a more connected and digitally inclusive future for Terengganu and beyond.
