The 51 to 100 list includes multiple restaurants from Southeast Asia
Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, sponsored by S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna, announces the list of venues voted between positions 51 to 100 ahead of its live awards ceremony on the 28th of March. Hosted in collaboration with destination partner Singapore Tourism Board, the list includes three restaurants from Malaysia.
Malaysia Makes Waves
Created from the votes of the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy, an influential group of over 300 leaders made up of food writers and critics, chefs, restaurateurs and regional culinary experts, this year’s 51 to 100 list includes Dewakan, Eat and Cook and Nadodi, all from Malaysia, in number 74, 79 and 94 respectively. This makes us very proud.
Among these three amazing restaurants on the 51 to 100 Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list is Nadodi, which recently relocated and is one of the more well known names from the country which made the prestigious rankings. The other two restaurants, that made the cut are Dewakan and Eat And Cook. The new fine dining establishment has no set menu but instead, the chefs will decide what to cook for you once you enter. What’s more, the meal will be cooked in front of you.
Best Places To Eat
William Drew, Director of Content at Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, says, “This is the third year that we are unveiling the 51-100 list as a precursor to the grand countdown. It is really exciting to see the ever-expanding showcase of culinary excellence in Asia.”
“With 17 new entries and spanning 17 cities, we hope the extended list provides added inspiration for gourmets around the world as they embark on their gastro-itineraries once more.” He concluded.
