It looks like the third season of The White Lotus will be getting some serious K-Pop star power with Lalisa Manobal joining the series. Better known as Lisa to the Blinkies, the artiste will be flexing her acting muscles in the third instalment of the HBO Original Series.

Lalisa joining the series does make sense, after all she is from Thailand, and the series will be based in the Kingdom. Here’s what else we know about The White Lotus Season 3.

Who Else Is In The Series

Lalisa Manobal (Lisa) from BlackPink has joined the previously announced cast, including Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Francesca Corney, Nicholas Duvernay, Arnas Fedaravičius, Christian Friedel, Scott Glenn, and Walton Goggins. Also starring in the third season are Dom Hetrakul, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Julian Kostov, Michelle Monaghan, Sam Nivola, Morgana O’Reilly, Lek Patravadi, Shalini Peiris, Parker Posey, Natasha Rothwell, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Tayme Thapthimthong  and Aimee Lou Wood.

What Will The Third Season Be About?

For now, HBO has been tight lipped about the storyline of the series. However if its anything like the past two instalments, we do expect a fair share of weird character developments as well as a murder mystery thrown in for good measure. The first season was set in Hawaii with the second season moving to the sunny confines of Sicily.

The third instalment of the Emmy-winning HBO Original series from Mike White will begin production in and around Koh Samui, Phuket, and Bangkok in February and will follow a new group of guests at another White Lotus property. HBO has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to support the filming and promotion of the third instalment.

Who Is Lalisa Manobal?

Well for BlackPink fans, she needs little introduction.  Lalisa Manobal is a rapper, singer, and dancer best known as Lisa, a member of the globally renowned Korean-pop girl group.  Along with her unparalleled stage presence, she is known for her unique fashion sense and trendsetting style, making her a prominent figure in the global fashion industry. Lisa is represented by LLOUD Co.

Award-Winning Credentials

The first instalment of The White Lotus premiered July 2021 and received 20 Emmy nominations across 13 categories. It delivered ten wins, the most wins of any program that year, including Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series. The second instalment, which premiered in December 2022, was set in Sicily and garnered 23 Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series. The White Lotus is created, written and directed by Mike White; executive produced by White, David Bernad and Mark Kamine.
