Building upon the success of previous editions, which featured renowned cosplayer Hakken, this latest instalment, titled “Symphonic Anime 5,” promises an unforgettable musical journey led by conductor Joshua Tan.

Scheduled for Friday, 28 June 2024, and Saturday, 29 June 2024, at 8:30pm at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP), KLCC, these concerts offer a rare opportunity to experience iconic retro anime soundtracks alongside recent favourites. Limited tickets are still available, so be sure to secure yours for an evening of enchanting melodies and captivating performances.
During the performance, prepare to be transported back in time with beloved classics such as Kikuchi’s Dragon Ball Medley and Miyazaki’s Pokemon: Lugia’s Song. Relive the magic of old-school Japanese manga series with Takanashi’s Sailormoon: Moon Prism Power Makeup and Gakari’s Naruto: Bluebird, guaranteed to evoke nostalgia and fond memories.

In the second half of the concert, experience the enchanting melodies of recent anime masterpieces, including Hisaishi’s captivating The Tale of Princess Kaguya and Yamamoto’s powerful Attack on Titan theme. Dive into the whimsical world of Fujihara’s Mixed Nuts, the theme from ‘Spy X Family,’ and feel the emotion in Radwimps’ Sparkle from ‘Your Name’ and the beautiful orchestration of Weathering With You from ‘Grand Escape.’
Adding an extra layer of magic to the performances, Selangor-born singer and songwriter Rina-Hime will lend her captivating vocals to select songs. With a deep passion for Japanese pop rock music, Rina-Hime has captivated audiences since her debut as a guitarist in 2015.
Fusion MusicHer transition to a solo artist in 2016 saw her mesmerising fans with anime song covers and, in 2020, she expanded her repertoire by infusing Japanese music with local Malaysian tunes, garnering widespread social media attention.
