Calling all Beatles fans! Mark your calendars for Saturday, 26 October 2024, as the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) takes you on a musical journey like no other at Dewan Filharmonik PETRONAS (DFP), KLCC. Starting at 8:30 PM, prepare to experience the iconic hits of The Beatles reimagined with a Baroque twist, under the baton of conductor Gerard Salonga.
The Beatles Are Back
Themed “Beatles Go Baroque,” this concert features orchestral renditions of beloved tracks like Yellow Submarine, Hey Jude, I Want to Hold Your Hand, Here Comes the Sun, and Penny Lane. Each piece has been artfully arranged by composer and pianist Peter Breiner, drawing inspiration from the timeless works of Bach, Vivaldi, and Handel.
Following its successful debut in 2022, this highly anticipated return showcases the MPO’s innovative approach to blending classical music with popular tunes, making it a must-attend event for music lovers of all backgrounds.

The Beatles, who first captured hearts with their 1962 debut single Love Me Do and album Please Please Me, are more than just a band, they’re a cultural phenomenon that defined a generation.
By the end of 1963, the “Fab Four” had taken the world by storm, touring Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia, culminating in their final concert in San Francisco in 1966. With an estimated one billion albums sold, their music continues to resonate, making this concert a testament to their lasting legacy.
