Discover the wonderful world of rum in Singapore this July

The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore will launch its first-ever Singapore Rum Festival on 8 and 9 July 2023. So mark your calendar and get ready to discover a wonderful new world of Rum next month as the hotel brings you in with the delicious beverage and lets you discover all the flavours it has as well.

The festival presents over 20 of the best rum brands in the business, from Bacardi and Mount Gay to Doorly’s, Hampden, Neisson, Black Tot, Renegade, TCRL, Black Tears, and La Progresiva. For its first edition, Singapore Rum Festival also shines a spotlight on regional Southeast Asian rums.

Moreover, the Singapore Rum Festival invites you to discover the flavours of Cambodia with Samai and explore the Thai rum scene with Phraya and Chalong Bay. All these flavours add a unique spin on the more traditional rum we all know and love and gives us the asian spice flavour we long for.

Alongside tasting experiences, the two-day event will also feature a curated masterclasses by industry experts and rum tastings with The Bar at 15 Stamford’s Bar Manager, Edriane Lim, on 8 July from 4pm to 7pm. There’s also a premium rum tasting by The Rum Cartel on 9 July from 4pm to 7pm.

On top of that, there will also be servings of delicious cocktails and food at the festival. This allows guests to enjoy a more wholesome and complete experience while also ensuring their palate is not completely overwhelmed by only the taste of rum, but rather retain a more neutral pallate to truly take in all the drinks and food.
