Piaget is breaking new ground in watchmaking with the introduction of ceramic into its renowned Piaget Polo Skeleton collection. This milestone marks a significant evolution, blending the Maison’s expertise in skeletonisation with the innovative use of ceramic to create a timepiece that is both elegant and distinctive.
A Long Time
After three years of meticulous development, the Piaget Polo Skeleton Ceramic showcases a striking jet-black ceramic case, which perfectly complements the collection’s signature ultra-thin, second-skin design. This new material not only enhances the watch’s visual appeal but also infuses it with a bold, modern edge that redefines Piaget’s approach to luxury timepieces.
The Piaget Polo collection, first launched in 1979, has always symbolised sporty elegance and sophistication, catering to a jet-set clientele. Over the decades, it has evolved from its gold origins to embrace new materials like steel, as seen with the Piaget Polo S collection introduced in 2016. 
A Stunning Finish
The latest Piaget Polo Skeleton Ceramic builds on this tradition of innovation. It incorporates ceramic into the ultra-thin proportions of the collection while maintaining the high-end finishes that are Piaget’s hallmark. The watch’s development was a significant engineering challenge, requiring a complete redesign to seamlessly integrate ceramic with the existing aesthetic.
A special titanium container, treated with black DLC, encases the ceramic components, ensuring robustness while maintaining a sleek profile. At just 7.5mm thick, the Piaget Polo Skeleton Ceramic is a feat of design and engineering, being only 1mm thicker than its steel and gold counterparts. 
Under The HoodIt’s powered by the Manufacture 1200S1 ultra-thin self-winding calibre and features striking Superluminova accents on the indexes, hands, and Piaget logo. The watch also introduces the SingleTouch interchangeable strap system, offering versatility with options for black or blue rubber straps.
