Art For The Future

Bingley and Ima, renowned for their passion for contemporary art, present a curated selection spanning two decades. Their collection of approximately 77 sculptures, canvases, and silk screen artworks embodies Malaysia’s journey through trials, triumphs, and aspirations for a brighter future.

Moreover, each piece intricately weaves narratives of nation-building, reflecting the enduring spirit of “tanah tumpahnya darahku.” The exhibition holds a special significance, coinciding with the Georgetown Art Festival 2024 and the upcoming Merdeka holiday. Loewe

Celebrating Diversity

It serves not only as a cultural beacon but also as a reminder of Malaysia’s resilience and unity amidst diversity. The venue itself, Hin Bus Depot, with its juxtaposition of historical architecture and contemporary ambiance, adds depth to the narrative woven by the artworks.

Supported by Yayasan Mr. D.I.Y. and HB Art Auctioneers, the exhibition offers free admission from 13 July to 11 August 2024. Beyond showcasing art, “negaraku” aims to foster dialogue and introspection, inviting visitors to explore the multifaceted layers of Malaysian identity.Loewe

The Essence Of Art

A unique aspect of the exhibition is the exclusive catalogues meticulously crafted to capture the essence of each artwork. These collector’s items, available at the opening, feature varied casings, numbering, and autographs, making them prized possessions for art enthusiasts and historians alike. Loewe
