Loewe has launched the Pixel Story, an extension of its Spring Summer 2023 Collection. Using illusions to break patterns, Loewe unveils a series of interesting products that plays with the idea of tromp l’oeil. Pieces from this series will also arrive in a limited-edition packaging.

The collection allows consumers to discover the glitch realm through Creative Director Jonathan Anderson’s playful and exciting creations. Now available in stores and online, Pixel Story embraces the fine lines between reality and virtual by presenting a decontextualised digital world through a range of pixel product. Focusing on line, colour and shape, the Loewe pixelated glitch was a blurring extravaganza at its Spring Summer 2023 show.

Glitching Accessories

Pixel Story features ready-to-wear and accessories that are a trompe l’oeil representation of the digital image. Anderson cleverly pushes visual boundaries using 3D seams, redefining the normality of T-shirts, shirts and chinos, twisted as blunt design statements.

First debuted at the Loewe Spring Summer 2023 runway with the pixelated hoodie and T-shirt, the collection has now extended to a series of products, including pixelated denim pieces and a pixelated version of the iconic Puzzle bag.

This kind of look is perhaps the most unique and creative of our time.
