The Kia Carnival 11-Seater is now the third Kia vehicle to be locally assembled

Dinamikjaya Motors Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of the Kia brand in Malaysia, has announced the locally assembled (CKD) Kia Carnival 11-seater variant is now open for booking with a selling price of RM 213,888. That makes this vehicle the third Kia model to be locally assembled at the Inokom Assembly plant in Kulim, Kedah.

The fourth-generation Kia Carnival boasts a design evolution which builds on its predecessors’ heritage and its interior was based on the interior design concept of “Spatial Talents” interior design concept created by Kia’s design teams, which provides spacious, comfortable and futuristic environments for young families.

Moreover, its unrivalled combination of innovation, flexibility and style are designed to satisfy both driver and passengers. Like its predecessor, the new Kia Carnival boasts significant levels of space for passengers in all rows with a greater sense of roominess, combined with a renewed sense of modernity and style.

The CKD Kia Carnival 11-seater interior now comes in Black and Gray leatherette interior finishing as standard. The rest of the specification remains unchanged, which includes front styling and LED DRLs, Smart Power Sliding doors and Power Lift gate Smart key with one-button open/close functionality for rear doors and lift gate.

Other standard features include a 12.3-inch High-resolution LCD Touchscreen Infotainment system with Apple Carplay and Android Auto, wireless smartphone charging, multi-Bluetooth connectivity and seven USB ports. 4 total colours, Astra Blue, Snow White Pearl, Meteor Gray and Jet Black, are now available.

On top of that, safety features on the 11-seater Kia Carnival includes 7 SRS Airbags, ABS, ESC, Traction Control, Multi-Collision Brake Control, ISOFIX Child Restraint Anchor Points and Top Tethers as well as Hill-Start Assist, along with Blind-Spot Collision Warning and Rear Cross-Traffic Avoidance Assist as well.

The new Kia Carnival 11-seater is powered by a 2.2L Turbo Diesel Engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission controlled by an electronic shifter. Its engine makes 199hp and 440Nm of torque, offering smooth, linear acceleration and a performance driving experience.

The CKD Kia Carnival 11-seater is now officially open for booking. From 1 November 2023 till 31 December 2023, all bookings for this variant will enjoy an introductory selling price of RM198,500.00 inclusive of accessories as well as a 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty with a coverage period of up to five years and a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first.

The new Kia Carnival 11-seater also comes with 5-Years Free Scheduled Maintenance, with a coverage period of up to five years and a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first and will be showcased at the Bermaz Auto Showcase from 1 to 5 November 2023 at Centre Court, Pavilion Bukit Jalil from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
