Webtoon Comes To Life
An adaptation of Kangfull’s hit webtoon of the same name, Light Shop follows six strangers, each grappling with a traumatic event from their past. As they go about their daily lives, they slowly come to realise that something is very wrong – they just can’t figure out what. .
Desperate for answers and searching for a way back to normalcy, the strangers are drawn to a mysterious shop at the end of a foreboding alleyway, which holds the key to their past, present and future. Full of mystery and intrigue, the series promises to take viewers on an emotional adventure through its unique and heart wrenching premise.
Lights, Camera, Action
Light Shop stars Ju Jihoon (Blood Free, Kingdom, The Spy Gone North) as Jung Wonyoung, the mysterious shop owner and Park Boyoung, (Strong Girl Bong-soon, Oh My Ghost) as a nurse whose life was changed forever following a near death experience.
The K-drama series is also supported by Bae Seongwoo (Veteran, The King) as a detective, Lee Jungeun (Parasite) as distraught mother; and Kim Minha (Pachinko, Investigation Partners) as screenwriter Sunhae. The series is adapted for the screen by Kangfull (Moving) and is directed by Kim Hiewon.

Light Shop is the eagerly awaited follow-up to Kangfull’s acclaimed series Moving. First released in 2023, Moving went on to become the most viewed international original series on the Disney streaming platform.
Disney+ Hotstar subscribers can stream the first four episodes of the new K-drama series from December 4.
