The new BMW 520i M Sport is here and ready to excite driving enthusiasts

BMW Malaysia has introduced the new BMW 520i M Sport, a fresh addition to its locally assembled 5 Series lineup. This launch follows the debut of the BMW 520i at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 in May.

Sportiness As Standard

The new BMW 520i M Sport features the M Sport package, which enhances its sporty and stylish character. The car’s design includes a sleek, elongated profile with adaptive LED headlights, BMW Iconic Glow kidney grilles and 19-inch M light alloy wheels. The exterior also boasts an M high gloss shadowline trim, contributing to its bold, athletic appearance.

Inside, the cabin exudes sophistication with M anthracite headliner, dark chrome accents, and aluminium rhombicle trim. Drivers also benefit from an M Sport design leather steering wheel and a BMW Curved Display that includes a 12.3-inch instrument display and a 14.9-inch touchscreen Control Display.

Luxurious Interior

The interior also features the BMW Interaction Bar, ambient lighting and a Harman Kardon HiFi loudspeaker system. Meanwhile, under the hood, the new 520i M Sport is powered by a four-cylinder B48 engine, supplemented by a 48V mild hybrid system making 208hp and 330Nm of torque for a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration of 7.5 seconds and a top speed of 230 km/h.

Both safety and driver assistance features are reinforced with the Driving Assistant Plus, which includes features like Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Steering and Lane Control Assistant and Lane Departure Warning. Parking Assistant Plus is also standard. Connectivity features include BMW Live Cockpit Professional, Connected Drive Services and Teleservices.

Exterior Colours

The new BMW 520i M Sport is available in several colours, including Black Sapphire Metallic and Cape York Green Metallic. Pricing for the new BMW 520i M Sport starts at RM349,800, which includes a 5-Year Extended Warranty and Service Package.
