New grandstands released to meet demand at the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2023

Race promoter Singapore GP Pte Ltd has unveiled the complete entertainment programme set to pump up the electrifying atmosphere at the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2023. The line-up joins the previously announced 88rising line-up, Post Malone, and Robbie Williams. Formula 1 Singapore

Meet The Acts

Without further ado, here are the acts. First up, based in South Korea, is Japanese multilingual girl group XG who first took TikTok by storm in 2022 with their incredible multilingual rap cypher, Galz Xypher. The septet has since become the first Japanese female group to earn a spot on the US Top 40 charts for their hit Shooting Star.

Next , singer-songwriter and rapper BIBI has been featured in numerous collaborations since her official debut in 2019. Her first single with 88rising, The Weekend, reached #29 on US radio charts, becoming the best performing single by a Korean female artiste.

Post Malone

Also joining in on the fun is rapper-singer MILLI who made waves in the Thai hip-hop scene. Her debut single Phak Kon in 2020, alone amassed four million views on YouTube in just four days. Next up, known for their outlandish, progressive, and genre-blending sounds, Japanese girl group Atarashii Gakko! will impress fans with their eccentric self-choreographed dance moves as well.

Multi Award Winning Acts

Multi-platinum selling and three times GRAMMY award and BRIT award winning band Kings of Leon will also perform their first ever Asian show outside of Japan, as one of the headliners at the Zone 4 Padang Stage on Saturday, 16 September and the Zone 1 Wharf Stage on Sunday, 17 September. What’s more, British pop phenomenon Culture Club is set to belt out fan-favourites like Do You Really Want to Hurt Me and Karma Chameleon at the Zone 1 Wharf Stage on Saturday, 16 September. The band’s globally iconic and flamboyant lead singer Boy George is also scheduled to perform an exclusive DJ set at hospitality facility Twenty3 on Sunday, 17 September.

Completing the line-up British band, Madness who will be uniting people for a right raucous live bash at the Zone 1 Wharf Stage on Sunday, 17 September and legendary British electronic music duo Groove Armada will also be revving up the crowd at the Zone 4 Padang Stage before the Formula 1 race on Sunday, 17 September.
