Colnago And Tod’s Come Together To Produce The Stylish T Bike
Share
What do you get when you combine the expertise of an Italian fashion brand and an Italian bicycle maker? You get the T Bike of course, which is the result of the creative and collective expertise of Colnago and Tod’s. Those familiar with Tod’s will recognise the brand for its extensive range of leather goods and shoes. Colnago on the other hand is well regarded for their bikes.
The result of this new partnership has to do with ‘collaboration’ naturally, the new buzzword hitting the fashion industry. Recently, we’ve borne witness to Gucci and Adidas coming together as well as Supreme x Burberry. So, Colnago and Tod’s creation of the T Bike isn’t all that extraordinary, even more so as they’re both prominent Italian brands.
Riding the Italian Lifestyle
Colnago and Tod’s unveiled the T Bike at Salone del Mobile 2022. The high-tech bicycle is made from carbon-fibre and designed exclusively by Colnago. Tod’s naturally lent its expertise in the style department, resulting in a stunning racing green and orange leather ensemble. Getting your hands on one could prove difficult though as only 70 unique pieces of the T Bike have been made.
More than just a clever partnership, both Tod’s and Colnago share common traits. Proudly made in Italy, the brands’ pillars are based on tradition, craftsmanship and innovation. These values translate the message of Italian lifestyle into a contemporary language in the new T Bike. It’s designed exquisitely for a new generation of owners who celebrate the active spirit, and energetic lifestyle of our time, with a particular focus on eco-mobility.
At Salone del Mobile 2022, Tod’s also unveiled a special edition of two of its iconic products. Both the Tod’s Tabs sneaker, always recognisable by the use of rubber pebbles on the heel, and the two-tone wind-breaker, embossed with the iconic T-Lion leather pocket.
Exclusively for Spring Summer 2022, these cult classics are now presented in new leathers and colour combinations. For the sneakers – soft white monochrome leather, inserts of leather and suede in contrasting tones. The wind-breakers now offer technical fabrics of nylon blue, tobacco, blue and khaki with leather details.
Both the new collection and the Tod’s T Bike will be available to pre-order from June 13 on Tods.com and in select flagship stores worldwide. The Tod’s Milan Montenapoleone boutique will also accept Bitcoin cryptocurrency transactions, a payment formula that can also be used for the online purchase of the T Bike in Europe.
