Multi-platinum selling singer-songwriter Calum Scott is coming to Asia for a tour and it includes a performance in Kuala Lumpur.
The news of his concert performance comes hot on the heels of the release of his latest single, ‘Heaven’. Calum Scott will kick off the Asia tour in Tokyo, Japan on October 18 before performing in Manila, Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore. His concert in KL will take place on 27 October 2022 at the Plenary Hall, KL Convention Centre.
“It feels so incredible to announce my Asia tour! It’s been a long time coming and a lot of planning but after the last few years we’ve had, you can just tell how excited people are for live music again and I’m so happy to be a part of it,” read the statement from the singer.
“I am coming back with my band to play the songs that people discovered me on, as well as new songs from my second album which I would say is my best and most personal work yet – I can’t wait to see you there.”
A Return To KL
Calum Scott’s Asia Tour coincides with the release of his sophomore album ‘Bridges’, which releases 17 June. Bridges marks the follow-up to his 2018 full-length debut ‘Only Human’, which was a widely acclaimed effort that hit No. 1 on the iTunes album chart in 21 countries across the globe.
That album also sold more than 3.6 million in adjusted album sales and garnering over 7.5 billion combined streams.
This isn’t the first time Scott has performed in Kuala Lumpur. The soulful singer performed to a sold-out audience at the Sheraton PJ in 2019 in a showcase performance. Chances are that his upcoming concert here will receive the same reception.
Calum Scott’s Asia Tour Kuala Lumpur concert tickets are priced from RM258, RM298 and RM328 respectively. Tickets will go on sale on 15 June at 10 am on GoLive Ticketing.
