The BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport variant adds dynamic sportiness to the SUV

BMW Malaysia has just introduced the new BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport variant, complementing the Pure Excellence variant that was unveiled earlier this year. The new variant will also roll-out from the BMW Assembly Plant in Kulim, adding to the automaker’s extensive line-up of premium vehicles that are assembled in Malaysia.

The latest variant will feature notable sports-oriented additions, including a new M Specific front and rear design thanks to the M Aerodynamics Package, along with door entry sills that feature the iconic M inscription. All classic M Sport touches.

Moreover, new visual highlights on the new BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport consist of the BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille that is illuminated by LED fibre optics for a strong visual aura, along with new 22-inch M Sport light alloy wheels finished in double spoke 913 M bicolour with mixed tyres.

On the inside, the new BMW M Sport variant SUV features a new ‘Fineline Black’ fine wood trim with high-gloss metal effect, the M leather steering wheel as well as BMW Individual extended Merino leather upholstery in Black or Tartufo.

In terms of driving assistance, the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport will also arrive with the Driving Assistant Professional including Distance Control with Stop & Go along with the Steering and Lane Control Assistants, enabling Level 2 Autonomous Driving capabilities and offering enhanced comfort as well as safety as well.

On top of that, the new BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport will continue to be powered by an inline six mild hybrid engine making 380hp and 540Nm of torque. This allows the Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) to achieve the century sprint of just 5.8 seconds on to a top speed of 250km/h.

Paired with the BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system and an 8-Speed Steptronic Sport transmission, the SAV also boasts the mild-hybrid technology with a 48-Volt starter generator for even better efficiency and dynamics.

In addition to the existing Mineral White Metallic and Black Sapphire Metallic colour offerings for the BMW X7, the new M Sport variant will also receive an exclusive M Brooklyn Grey Metallic colour as well.

With the Straight Line Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the new M Sport variant of this SUV can be owned with monthly instalment plans starting from RM8,322.00 (based on estimates of an 80 percent loan on a seven-year tenure) and costs RM718,800 (on the road without insurance).
