Enjoy a shining and splendid Christmas this year with Marina Bay Sands and Bay precinct
On 8 November 2024, Marina Bay Sands ushered in the festive season with an unforgettable light display, marking the start of the holidays across the Marina Bay precinct. This year, the integrated resort partnered with iconic landmarks, including the Singapore Flyer, The Helix Bridge and National Gallery, to illuminate the entire bay area in a warm champagne gold glow.
A Big Celebration
The festive light-up is part of a larger collaboration between Marina Bay Sands, the Singapore Tourism Board, and UOB, under the “Masterpieces. Made in Singapore” campaign. The project brings together hotels like The Fullerton Hotel, The Ritz-Carlton, and Swissotel to create an immersive celebration of lights, adding to the charm of the waterfront’s 3.6-km perimeter.
Moreover, a highlight of the celebrations is The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands’ Christmas Light-Up, in collaboration with luxury brand CHANEL. Inspired by the tale of the CHANEL snowflake, this stunning installation features the brand’s signature emblems, including the No5 fragrance bottle and camellia flower, set against a backdrop of comets and snowflakes.
A Fragrant Experience
Additionally, CHANEL also introduced The Magical House of CHANEL, an immersive, snowy forest experience at the Event Plaza, offering exclusive fragrances, makeup, and skincare products, as well as an in-depth exploration of the iconic No5 fragrance. The experience runs until December 25, with limited slots for the public to register.
Let There Be Light
The festive light-up continues until 24 November across the bay, while Marina Bay Sands’ iconic towers and the ArtScience Museum will remain illuminated until 25 December. Shoppers at The Shoppes can indulge in exclusive holiday shopping, with luxury brands offering limited-edition items and festive gifts to celebrate the season.
