The new Arnold & Son is here and ready to mesmerise
Arnold & Son has unveiled the Perpetual Moon 38 Night Tide, a stunning addition to its distinguished line of moon phase timepieces, celebrating the celestial influence on our oceans. This new creation merges the allure of diamonds, mother-of-pearl marquetry, and ruthenium crystal inlays to depict a lunar landscape above crashing waves and foamy seas.
Stunning Proportions
This exquisite blend of evocative minerals and meticulous craftsmanship underscores the meticulous attention given to the women’s collections of Switzerland’s renowned English brand. Crafted from solid white gold, the Perpetual Moon 38 Night Tide boasts a refined 38mm diameter and a slender 10.44mm case thickness.
Its opulent design includes IF-VVS round brilliant cut diamonds adorning the case and buckle, along with marquise-cut diamonds on the dial, totaling a dazzling 2.62 carats. The dial portrays a mesmerising scene of azure, navy, ink, and midnight hues, where undulating waves of mother-of-pearl and ruthenium crystals evoke the rhythm of the sea.
Above this aquatic panorama, a starry sky adorned with luminescent hand-painted constellations frames an oversized ruthenium crystal moon, illuminating the heavens. This distinctive material has become a hallmark of Arnold & Son’s exquisite timepieces, adding precious texture to each creation.
Limited to just 18 pieces, the Perpetual Moon 38 Night Tide exemplifies Arnold & Son’s commitment to watchmaking excellence tailored for the feminine wrist. The watch houses the A&S1612 caliber, meticulously crafted with the smallest movement in the brand’s collection.
Accuracy Is Key
This hand-wound movement upholds the tradition of Arnold & Son’s calibers with extended power reserves, offering an impressive autonomy of 90 hours. At the heart of the A&S1612 caliber lies its star complication, a moon phase display renowned for its accuracy.
Occupying a prominent aperture between 10 and 2 o’clock, the large moon disc faithfully mirrors the lunar phases with remarkable precision. Arnold & Son’s dedication to astronomical precision ensures that this moon phase will remain accurate for 122 years, trailing the actual lunar cycle by just a single day over a century.
