Celebrating their shared passion for the “universal language” of music, G-Shock and Against Lab. have teamed up again to present their second collaboration, the DW-5600AL24. This model takes us on a nostalgic journey from the 1970s to the early 1990s, blending the iconic G-Shock DW-5600, originally released in the 1980s, with elements of vintage cassette tapes.
Against Lab., deeply influenced by the hip-hop genre, infuses the design with cassette tape motifs. The watch features typewriter fonts reminiscent of Label stickers and tape reels, seamlessly integrating these retro elements with the classic aesthetic of the DW-5600.
Moreover, the new DW-5600AL24 retains the original G-Shock’s square face, echoing the shape of a cassette tape. It boasts neon-coloured circular accents on a matte white base and includes a soundwave LED backlight, adding a playful and vibrant touch.

Scheduled for release on 25 May 2024, the DW-5600AL24 will debut at the G-Shock X Against Lab. “The Universal Language” Pop-up store. Following the pop-up event, it will be available on the Casio Malaysia official website and Lazada store, the Against Lab. webstore, G-Shock stores, selected key dealer stores, and Atmos KL, with a retail price of RM595.
