Honda Malaysia has today announced that the highly anticipated SUV, the all-new “Winsome Runabout Vehicle,” better known as the WR-V, is now open for booking at all 101 Honda dealerships nationwide. The Small SUV is set to be the next trendsetter that will win the hearts of SUV fans.

Honda Malaysia Managing Director and CEO, Mr. Hironobu Yoshimura said, “We are thrilled to be the first Japanese mass market manufacturer to introduce a brand-new Small SUV in the Non-National Segment to Malaysians, set to launch in Q3 2023.”

Moreover, the sporty appearance of the all-new WR-V is amplified by its compact design, measuring 4,060mm in length, 1,780mm in width and 1,608mm in height. With a high ground clearance of 207mm, the Honda WR-V offers practicality and is easy to manoeuvre for urban commutes and will feature a sporty RS variant as well.

The All-New Honda WR-V also features a Power Retractable Door Mirror, Auto LED Headlights and LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) as well as LED Front Fog Lights and LED Sequential Turn Signals. All of which offer more style and modernity.

Equipped with a powerful engine, the All-New Honda WR-V sets a new benchmark with its 1.5L DOHC i-VTEC engine making 121PS of power and of 145Nm of torque paired to a CVT transmission resulting in the perfect balance between excellent fuel economy and driving performance.

The Japanese brand is committed to providing customers with added peace of mind to all its customers, thus, the all-new Honda WR-V is also fitted with a host of safety features, including its famous safety suite, SENSING, a comprehensive and advanced safety technology consisting of eight safety functions.

These include lead car departure notification, adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking system, forward collision warning, lane keep assist system, road departure mitigation, lane departure warning, auto high beam as well as Honda LaneWatch and Honda CONNECT for seamless smartphone connectivity.
