All models will also feature a hand-painted Sacha Jafri artwork
On 15 December 2022 at Goodwood, West Sussex, world renowned British automaker, Rolls-Royce revealed the Phantom ‘The Six Elements.’ This is a series of six unique one-of-one Phantom Extended Series II motorcars which represent an unprecedented convergence of art, design, technology and craftsmanship.
Each of these Phantom ‘The Six Elements’ were made in collaboration with well known British artist Sacha Jafri inspired by one of the five traditional elements Air, Water, Fire, Earth and Wind as well as the sixth, Humanity. Each car is also made with different colours to represent these elements both inside and out.
Rolls-Royce CEO, Torsten Muller-Otvos, stated, “Bespoke IS Rolls-Royce, and our Bespoke Collective’s skills, artistry and reputation are unrivalled. As this amazing project demonstrates, the world’s leading artists now actively seek opportunities to work with us, extending and informing their own practice and creating motor cars that are works of art in their own right.”
All six units of the Phantom ‘The Six Elements’ models are displayed in the gallery and have fun tie-ins with their corresponding element. For example, the Water car, which is our favorite, has a blue and white interior with a dark blue exterior colour while the fire car features a bright orange instead.
Additionally, each one of the cars features a painting by Sacha Jafri on the dashboard which also includes the word for the element on it. The rest of the car is pretty standard Rolls-Royce with excellent quality, top notch materials, a spirit of ecstasy on the front and everything else you would expect from the British Marque.
Furthermore, Speaking about the project, Sacha Jafri said, “Through my work I aim to combine the power of art with a stripped-back essence of expression, love, empathy, and intention, to inspire a more conscious and intention-filled humanity, striving for a reconnected world; reunited by the common goal of a more hopeful and sustainable future for our planet.”
What’s more, the world famous artist is best known for his ‘Journey of Humanity’ artwork which currently holds the Official Guinness World Record for the largest painting ever produced on canvas. Add this to perhaps the most luxurious car in the history of automobiles and the desirability of these Phantom ‘The Six Elements’ is unmatched.
