This year’s campaign is inspired by travel

This year, the Gucci Gift Campaign draws inspiration from the world of travel. This  is a clever nod to the founding history and heritage of the Italian House. The main theme follows a cast of characters who board a fanciful train under the cold starry winter sky to enter a world that creates opulence but also implants a seed of curiosity.

Based on the video created by Gucci for this year’s gift campaign to promote the campaign, each of the passengers is on an adventure that takes them to a place well beyond their imagination. However, this adventure is no ordinary one, it is laced with the underlying appreciation for everything beautiful in the world.

Moreover, the images and video for the 2022 Gucci Gift Campaign were born in the brilliant mind of Creative Director Alessandro Michele. The images were captured by Carlijn Jacobs with Jordan Hemingway shooting the video. These amazing talents highlight the joyful spirit of the festive season with their creations.

The characters in these images and video don’t just tell a story themselves, they use a variety of different gifts from the 2022 Gucci Gift Campaign. This includes trolleys, duffels, and cases of all shapes and sizes to ensure they have everything they need to make this holiday season as memorable as possible.

The cast also showcases the house’s imaginative vision of travel through the use of lace, ruffles, rich velvets and sequins to bring out the magic of the holidays. To add a classic spin on this, the video also shows the house’s signature bags spruced up with holiday colours presented in tone-on-tone palettes, smaller sizes, precious leathers and optical motifs.

Furthermore, the cast also shed a spotlight on the stunning selection of fine jewelry and watches presented in the 20222 Gucci Gift Campaign by travelling in suites adorned with the mesmerizing pieces from the Gucci decor collection. This collection truly celebrates the magic and joy of the festive season in so many ways.
