Hilton Expands Malaysian Footprint With Burau Bay Resort Langkawi

In the next couple of years, holidaymakers in Malaysia will have a brand new getaway to put on their list. Sometime in 2024, Hilton will open the doors to its new resort in Burau Bay Langkawi. The new resort will boast 251 rooms and will be the hospitality brand’s second property on the island.
Sometime next year, Hilton will also open The Nautilus Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton. This 250-room resort nestled on Cenang Beach, is the first property under the Curio Collection by the Hilton brand in Malaysia and Hilton’s first property on Langkawi.
The resort will also join Hilton’s established portfolio of hotels in Malaysia, where it currently operates 13 properties across three brands, with another nine in the pipeline.
About Hilton Burau Bay Langkawi
Hilton’s upcoming resort is nestled in Burau Bay along Langkawi’s western coastline. The resort will boast stunning, unobstructed views of the Straits of Malacca along with a 600-meter beachfront with white sands and clear waters.
The new property is surrounded by untouched coastal rainforests, and overlooks the majestic Gunung Mat Cincang, Seratosa Island, and Burau Island. It is a 15-minute drive from the Langkawi Airport and 40 minutes from the Kuah Jetty, and within close proximity to popular tourist attractions such as the Langkawi Cable Car & Sky Bridge, Pantai Cenang, and Kuah Town.
Hilton Burau Bay Resort Langkawi will feature an executive lounge and five dining concepts including an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty restaurant and a pool bar. Guests can unwind at the award-winning eforea spa or soak in either the indoor or outdoor pool. Fitness facilities include a fully equipped fitness centre, basketball and tennis courts.
For guests looking to host social events and celebrations, the resort also offers an events space spanning approximately 800 square meters, and a ballroom of approximately 400 square meters.
