Good news for fans of sci-fi saga 3 Body Problem. The critically acclaimed series will continue with all-new episodes to take viewers through the full journey of this epic saga. The next episodes will be created, executive produced, and written by the returning trio of David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, and Alexander Woo.

Bringing Sci-Fi To Life

3 Body Problem, based on the acclaimed bestselling trilogy of novels, debuted on Netflix on 21 March 2024 and was lauded by critics as “a smart, gripping thriller”, “a huge achievement.

The drama series spent three weeks at No. 1 and seven weeks on the Netflix Global Top 10, where it reached the Top 10 in 93 countries. The series also sent three songs from its soundtrack to Billboard’s Top TV Songs Chart, including Lana Del Rey’s ‘Video Games’ at #1.

Storytellers Delight

Emmy Award-winning powerhouse storytellers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have also re-upped their multi-year deal to write, produce and direct new series and films exclusively at Netflix. In addition to the continuation of the series, they are currently working on the recently announced series Death by Lightning.

Emmy-nominated Alexander Woo has an overall deal with Netflix and is set to return as Co-Creator, Executive Producer, and Writer.
