Bar Cicheti, Singapore’s pioneering pasta and wine bar established in 2017, has undergone a transformative renovation and rebranding, reaffirming its commitment to providing a unique dining experience centred on pasta and wine exploration in its most ambitious makeover yet. See what’s new here.
They’re Back
Under the direction of Liling Ong, founder of The Cicheti Group, a dedicated team of chefs, sommeliers, and creatives orchestrated a comprehensive overhaul of both the food and drinks menus in just one month. After a long hiatus of renovating, the bar is ready to start swirling all over again.
The result is a rejuvenated atmosphere inspired by the Roman god of wine, Bacchus, brought to life by Joanne Lee of Naui Studio, and infused with renewed vitality by Jakarta-based agency Brownfox Studio.
A New Menu
Central to Bar Cicheti’s evolution are its updated menus, curated by head chef Danny Ng and chef-owner Lim Yew Aun. Eight signature pasta dishes remain the focus, accompanied by a selection of starters and desserts, designed to provide a balanced dining experience or satisfy patrons enjoying a casual night at the bar.
Notable creations include the Smoked Rigatoni Cacio e Pepe and Spaghettini al Nero di Seppia, showcasing a commitment to simplicity and bold flavours.
Managing partner Ronald Kamiyama has reimagined the wine program, moving away from traditional categorizations to present collections that highlight different wine styles and production methods. Each category is introduced with an iconic quote from beloved films, enhancing the discovery process for patrons of all tastes and budgets.
As Bar Cicheti enters this new chapter, guests can anticipate a wealth of culinary and oenological delights. Whether indulging in pasta, savouring fine wines, or immersing oneself in the vibrant ambiance, there is something to delight every palate and occasion.
